Vital Signs

Practice Manager's Vital Signs appears on the first menu when you start the program.
Vital information is concisely displayed showing a snapshot of critical dates.  The date
of the current journal, the date of the last master and incremental backups, and the
date of the last full aging of accounts is available at a glance.  You are alerted if the
current journal date is incorrect and if the backups have failed.  The backups are vital
in these times of virus epidemics.

Also shown is the date when Practice Manager's files were last rebuilt and
defragmented, which is recommended to be run monthly for optimum performance.
Additional information includes the date of the last server reboot and the current
printer you have selected for this Practice Manager session.

Again, you will be alerted if any of these dates exceed critical time lapses.
